Praise The Lord!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, It gives me immense joy in Christ in sharing my testimony with you. As you read through this testimony, I believe that God would talk and work miracles in your lives too.

My prayer life was regular since I was born in an Orthodox Christian family. At my young age, though I got a government job, I constantly had the thought that my prayers were never answered and I decided to denounce God. I started criticizing Preachers and Evangelists that God listens only to people with money and power. Suddenly one day I fell ill and was admitted in hospital. The doctors lost hope and in my death bed I cried to God and miraculously raised me from the death bed.

On a New Year day of Jan 1, 1967 I met the man of God whom I had criticized. He greeted me on the New Year with warmth and kisses which made me realize that God forgives and started tasting the goodness and love of Christ. God the Almighty talked to me through the message on my first visit to the Madras Bible league. The message and the Bible verses (1 John 1:8-9 Rom-3:23 Rev 22:12) changed my way of life. I accepted the word of God, repented for my sins and started walking in the path of salvation.

At the age of 24, I was married to Ms. Mabel. Soon after our marriage, we were surrounded by problems and were desolated by our near and dear ones. We worked hard without rest to meet our day-to-day needs. In the evenings we would find some time on St. Thomas Mount to pray and plead to God to ease our trouble and pain. Our faith helped us to emerge victorious through Christ in all our problems. God started to pour His blessings on us. We started our own industry. We were blessed with 6 children. We started prospering.

This was the time when my family was struck by the powers of witch-craft. We started seeing declination in prosperity and our industry started showing losses. This was the time when God called me for dedicating myself full time for his ministry. We did not heed to his words. Yet, God was faithful – feeding and leading us through many people. My health started  deteriorating and I used to faint and become unconscious often. We consulted doctors and all become  vain. When we started to fast and prayer, God talked to us one day.

“Be Ready and I would give you strength to make ready many others” was our call from God through the following verses: Ezekiel  3: 17 and Jeremiah 51: 20 – 24

We were not able to resist God’s call and gave  ourselves as a family for HIS service. We made a covenant with God – ‘since we were desolated by family and in business because of the powers of Satan, we will work together to deliver such people who are entrapped in the clutches of Satan with the power of the Almighty God’.

The next day morning, I was woken up at 4:30 AM by the voice of God and was asked to go to the a hill side  to pray. I obeyed God’s words and went to Tirisulum hills. I, who used to faint many times a day was able to pray continuously from Morning 6:30 AM to Evening 8:00 PM.I was anointed with the Holy Spirit and by the power of God. I was neither hungry nor thirsty. At around 6:30 PM, a mentally retarded person came near me to harm me, was thrown away by the power of God and then was healed immediately. From that day onwards, God started using me to deliver many others from the clutches of Black magic.

God is using me , my family and our church to deliver the people and establish HIS rule in their lives and be a testimony for him.
